The memory remains..

That was the time, I had recovered from the accident but was out of any social circle, dragged myself from one place to another to find some small interst to life but hardly found. Everything cost too much compared to my labor salary so that the one that killed my time the most to escape from the grind (the heavy hot of the summer, the loneliness in the winter) was a journey by bus with air-conditioners using my monthly ticket (that cost a quarter of my salary) from home to Noibai international airport for just a pee and then back home. The only extra expenses were several cigarettes, sometime one or two cheap beers at the bus stops for falling into ecstasy of the cheap traveling.

Those were the blackest days of mine and once I was almost pulled down by a heroin addict.

The memory remains

Fortune, fame
Mirror vain
Gone insane
But the memory remains

Heavy rings on fingers wave
Another star denies their grave
See the nowhere crowd
Cry the nowhere tears of honor

Like twisted vines that grow
That hide and swallow mansions whole
And dim the light of an already
Faded prima donna

Fortune, fame
Mirror vain
Gone insane...
Fortune, fame
Mirror vain
Gone insane...
But the memory remains

Heavy rings hold cigarettes
Up to lips that time forgets
While the Hollywood sun sets
Behind your back

And can't the band play on?
Just listen, they play my song
Ash to ash
Dust to dust
Fade to black

Fortune, fame
Mirror vain
Gone insane...
Fortune, fame
Mirror vain
Gone insane...
Dance little tin goddess

Nanananan ana nananada nananananana nanananadana
Nanana nanana nananada nananananana..

Drift away
Fade away
Little tin goddess

Ash to ash
Dust to dust
Fade to black

Fortune, fame
Mirror vain
Gone insane...
Fortune, fame
Mirror vain
Gone insane...
But the memory remains

Ash to ash
Dust to dust
Fade to black...
The memory remains
Faded prima donna

Ah, suck it!

Dance little tin goddess dance

Nananananan a nananada nanananadana..
Nanana ...say yes...nanana...at least say hello...nananana
